FROM KENYA TO AN ATELIER

As I'm sure from all the illustrations covering the entire website, my passion for drawing and all creative things is about as apparent as my loudness in how much I adore the arts. An immigrant from East Africa, I moved around all of North America throughought my teen-hood, and while it may have been for reasons of family and kin, I used these experiences as a muse for all my art. While fashion may not have been my first choice, picking up my needle in highshool, is one that I will never regret. I have grown to love utilizing fashion as a form of self expression through sillhouette, structure and all manner of skill that I use in making my garments. Learning and growing in this field remains one of the greatest privileges I could ever have, and I look forward to growing in this industry in any way I can.
